In 2011 the unaudited profit of "Orion Securities", the largest financial brokerage company in Lithuania, amounted to 1,9 million Litas, whereas the amount earned in 2010 comprised 0,3 million Litas. In 2011 the income increased by more than 2 times and reached 7,5 million Litas (in 2010 the income amounted to 3,2 million Litas). 
 
UAB IRL Wind, the wind farm managed by UAB INER RAO Lietuva engaged in trading of secondary electrical power, produced 70.6 GWh of electrical power from renewable energy sources in year 2011 and generated turnover of 21 million LTL.
 

UAB "INTER RAO Lietuva", an independent electrical power supplier for Lithuania, signed a contract for the supply of electrical power for the year 2012, and will supply electrical power for the third year in a row to AB "ORLEN Lietuva", a petroleum refining company operating in Lithuania, and one of the largest electrical power consumers in the Baltic countries.

 
The GILD Bankers investment bank announced a list of the 100 most valuable Lithuanian enterprises of 2010, based on the value of their shares. "INTER RAO Lietuva" UAB was evaluated at 645 million litas and took the 18th position in the list.

By a common agreement, the transaction amount and the buyer's name are kept confidential.
 
The group of publishing and media companies "SC Baltic Media", after signing new contracts with the publishers of Great Britain's weekly paper The Economist, acquired the exclusive rights to publish The Economist publications in the Baltic countries and is expanding the activity in Latvia and Estonia.

The group of publishing and media companies "SC Baltic Media" acquired the exclusive rights to publish in the Baltic States the publication of BBC Worldwide - magazine Top Gear. This is the first product of the wide cooperation. The first issue of the magazine in Lithuania will reach the readers together with Omnitel 1000 km race on 25 July and it will be published in Latvia and Estonia starting from January 2012.
 
According to the data of the State Tax Inspectorate (STI), in the first quarter of this year UAB INTER RAO Lietuva has paid 42.564 million litas to the state budget and became one of the biggest tax payers in the country, among the second top five of taxpayers.

 
UAB "Scaent Baltic" together with the long-term partner in the energy sector Russian company "INTER RAO JES" passed the decision to invest to renewable energy and established subsidiary company of UAB "INTER RAO Lietuva" - UAB "IRL Wind". On 15 April 2011 "IRL Wind" signed the contract with the shareholders of UAB "Vėjų spektras" on acquisition of the wind farm with 30 MW of installed capacity, operating in Kretinga region, one of the largest in Lithuania.
 
Construction of Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas Nemunas island comes to an end and the local residents as well as guests of the city will be able to enjoy one of the most impressive entertainment and sports complexes in entire Europe since autumn. The company Genys, engaged in the sector of refrigeration equipment, designs refrigeration equipment for the arena. The plan is to install a modern ice rink in the arena. Sports people of different winter sports will be able to enjoy advantages of the ice rink.
 
The company "Intelligent Media" will donate all income, received after selling IQ magazine's April issue, to support Japanese people devastated by the catastrophe. New magazine issue is on sale since last Friday, March 25 and will be distributed till April 28.
 
UAB INTER RAO Lietuva has entered into an agreement with INTER RAO JES on power supply from the Baltiyskaja nuclear power plant, currently under construction in Kaliningrad, to the Baltic States and neighbouring countries.
 
In 2010, Genys, a company engaged in design and installation of refrigerating equipment, and its subsidiary in Latvia SIA Genys reached turnover of 14.13 million Litas and generated profit at the end of the year. Income within the same period in 2009 was 18.2 million Litas.
 
The largest Lithuanian non-banking stock broker company Orion Securities strengthens its positions in the sector of property management and a new member, Donatas Frejus, Manager of the Department of Investment Management, joins the team.
 
In 2010, Orion Securities, the largest non-bank financial broker company in Lithuania, generated non-audited net profit of 0.5 Litas, and in 2009 the company incurred loss of 2 million Litas in relation to deferrals for bad debts.
 
In 2010, turnover of the companies controlled by Scaent Baltic Investment, which specializes in search for and acquisition of business companies and investment projects corresponding to the strategy of the group of companies, reached 54.01 million Litas. Such turnover is 33% higher than in 2009 where the turnover was 40.5 million Litas.
 
According to non-audited data, East Europe Investment Group, the company engaged in direct investments in the markets of securities and raw materials in Baltic states, Russia, Western Europe and USA, reached turnover of 30.5 million Litas and generated profit of 1.45 million Litas in 2010. In 2009, the company's turnover was 20 million Litas, and profit was 1.78 million Litas.
