The income of “Orion Securities” has grown twice, the profit earned amounts to 1,9 million |2012.01.25|
In 2011 the unaudited profit of "Orion Securities", the largest financial brokerage company in Lithuania, amounted to 1,9 million Litas, whereas the amount earned in 2010 comprised 0,3 million Litas. In 2011 the income increased by more than 2 times and reached 7,5 million Litas (in 2010 the income amounted to 3,2 million Litas).
"Despite the confusion and the negative climate, which prevailed in the capital markets throughout the entire year 2011, we succeeded in retaining the chosen strategy and building added value for our clients and shareholders", says Alius Jakubėlis, Head of "Orion Securities".
In 2011 the company became the direct member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and offered a number of new investment products: CFD (contracts for difference), commodity options and futures, and hedge (alternative investment) funds.
According to A. Jakubėlis, although the old market problems, which were encountered in 2011, have remained unsolved and it is believed that in 2012 the markets will still be facing uncertainty due to the Euro zone survival and the global economic slowdown, "Orion Securities" can still see a number of reasons for optimism. Over the past few years the business entities have tremendously contributed to the efficient management of operating costs, processes and capital structures. This has been noted by the investors, who upon the reevaluation of the expected return on investments and risks, are returning back to the capital markets,
This year the Orion Group is planning to continue investing in the quality of its services and offer niche products and profitable investment projects to its clients.
